The planning permission sought consent for engineering operations associated with ground remediation and preparation including removal of former railway embankment and works to Holme Beck and Knitting Wife Beck and was approved conditionally on 30/09/2020
CONDITION DETAILS(Edit)
The following information has been submitted for condition 8
8 Prior to any works being undertaken to any open or culverted watercourse within the site, details comprising engineering drawings including cross sections of the works shall be submitted to and approved by the local planning authority. The works shall thereafter be carried out in accordance with those details.
REASON: To ensure the development is carried out in accordance with approved details relating to works involving the culvert.

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council (LLFA)(Edit)
The LLFA has reviewed the information submitted in support of the discharge of condition 8. The information is deemed sufficient to discharge condition 8, insofar as it conforms with Policy SD7 of the Redcar & Cleveland Local Plan dated May 2018.
Please ensure all documents are detailed on any approval and that the development shall be carried out in strict accordance.
PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS(Edit)
The submitted information has been considered by the LLFA as the relevant consultee. The advice offered is that the submitted information is acceptable and the works comply with Policy SD7 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan. On the basis of this response it is considered that the condition can be discharged.
It is noted that the Environment Agency were consulted on the application, however they have not commented. Given the location and nature of the works it is considered that the EA would not be required to be consulted. They also did not request the condition when the application was originally determined.

Taking into account the content of the report the recommendation is to discharge condition 8.
